~  Project Executive Summary Criteria  ~

To determine if a project is of interest, and desirable for further evaluation for possible funding, initially only an Executive Summary is requested (preferably via e-mail attachment). The following is the minimal amount of initial information that is required to consider a project for funding.  You may also complete the minimal information required, and submit that info. via the form below. If you submit info. this way, please also send us your Executive Summary via e-mail.

 

1.  Overview: Brief general description of project, including location, plus funding amount and structure of that funding desired (loan - equity split, 1st position, etc.).

 

2. Project Description: Detailed, but concise, overall description of project.

 

3.  Completion Schedule: For construction/development projects, an estimated schedule for completion of project design and overall development.

 

4.  Marketing Plan: Brief overview of marketing plan, to include the “competition” in the respective project market.

 

5.  Developer Background: For construction/development projects, a brief summary on the background of the developer, including prior and similar projects developed.

 

6.  Project Management: A brief overview on the members of the project management team, including prior relative experience.

 

7.  Collateral:  A list of the collateral that can be provided, including value.

 

8.  Appraisals: Where applicable, information on what appraisals have been conducted, and if a complete and current appraisal is available.

 

9. Guarantees: An indication as to whether corporate and/or personal guarantees can be provided.

 

10. Financial Projections: A condensed summary of the project’s financial projections, preferably for 4 or 5 years, for the main financial categories: Revenues, Expenses, and Income/Profit. 

 

11. Funding Requirements & Use of Funds: A summary of the funding requirements, and planned use of funds listed by main categories.

 

12. Principle’s Contribution To Project: Indicate the amount the principal(s) of the project are contributing to/investing in the venture.

 

13. Preferable Financing Terms:  State the financing “terms” that are preferable to the project principles, such as interest rate, length/term of loan, equity offered, etc.

 

14. Available Documentation: List the project documentation that is available, such as a Business Plan, Feasibility Study, Appraisals, Project Drawings, etc.

NOTE:  If the Executive Summary does not properly address all of the above applicable categories, then prior to submitting the Executive Summary the missing information (if applicable to a specific project) should be obtained and included in the Summary.  Submitting only partial information delays the entire initial review process since requests for additional data would be necessary.
